About Our Founder, Michael Lepage

Michael is the founder of Plan Academy. Based in Hamilton Ontario he is a long-time project management advocate with a passion for technology. He is also a husband, father, musician, athlete and creator.

Michael started out as an IT consultant. He was quickly drawn to project management. He earned his PMP certification and, as a consultant, managed projects at several large companies like Sun Life, American Express, IBM and Apple.

He eventually switched to from leading projects to teaching the tenets of project management. He quickly became an expert in Primavera P6 and project controls after teaching in-person classes for over 7 years.

In 2013 Plan Academy was born out of a passion to want to help users world-wide with project controls and project scheduling. To date, Plan Academy has trained 1000s of students on project controls, CPM scheduling and proper practices for project success.
